It is extremely important to initially define the objective, the respondent qualification, the questioning items, and the methodology, and agree to all of these elements. This initial process determines the success of a research project.
At TNS-Infoplan, our research experts initially examines client's business issues, customer and competitive environments, and then defines research objectives, and propose methodology and questioning items.
In the initial client briefing, we probe and examine each issue surrounding client business environment. Needless to say, specific and detailed briefing contents produce a good recommendation in methodology / questioning items / respondent qualification, and takes clients to a good service satisfaction.
Contents of client briefings contains confidential business information in many cases. For this reason, there are cases where we sign up for a Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to the initial project commission, to provide clients with information security. We are flexible about the form of NDA (either the client standard NDA form or our standard form is acceptable).
Following the client briefing, client service staff will develop a proposal, where the background, objectives, methodology, timing and cost are defined by TNS-Infoplan. Our proposal is revised until it is comfortable on the part of clients with all the details agreed upon.
Research proposal is a document which specifies the contents of the service we provide in line with client briefing. It spells out every detail of our recommended approach to how the study is implemented, including whom to interview and what to interview. It also provides project timing details (preparation, fieldwork, data-processing, analysis and report production) and project cost.
The project is commissioned to TNS-Infoplan when our proposal is 100% comfortable to the client. A service agreement is then signed off by both TNS-Infoplan and the client.
